Happy weekend lovelies! Another week has passed and the weekend has arrived. Here’s a little recap of what went on in Emerald and Jade Loves HQ.

What I Read
Katie Anderson writes the beautiful French Interior Style and French Lifestyle Blog : Love French Style. I met Katie shortly after moving over here, when we recognised each other from Instagram, the magic of social media!
I’ve been following her blog ever since, and recently, she has teamed up with the equally lovely Lucy Thompson, a well-being expert with many talents!
Lucy’s first post on Love French Style really resonated with me and motivated me to keep going with the changes I have started implementing in my personal life. Read it here : https://www.lovefrenchstyle.com/forward-facing-february-with-well-being-expert-lucy-thompson/.
What I Watched

I have just finished watching “Dix Pour Cent” (Call My Agent in English) on Netflix, and really enjoyed it. I recently found myself wanting to reconnect more when my French-ness, and this series was perfect for it!
Set in Paris, with a great cast and lots of French actors playing themselves in each episode. I thoroughly enjoyed all four seasons of it.
What I Marvelled At
We haven’t had snow here (thank goodness! Happy to leave the snow for back in the Alps!). This afternoon however, as the rain turned to ice, the countryside turned white as plants and trees became covered with small icy jewels. It was really quite something, and lucky for me Barry took these beautiful photos.

What I Sang to
I have a rather random taste in music… which can vary from day to day, depending on wheter I feel like dancing, relaxing or singing. I have also started singing more, much to the kids amusement… as it’s not usually very good, but so fun! The higher the pitch, the better! My main favourites have been “Fever” by Dua Lipa & Angele, and “Boys” by Lizzo.
What I Wrote

I started off the week sharing Sarah and her family’s journey from South Wales to France. You can about it on the blog.
If you’d like to take part in the Families Moving Abroad series, you can find out how to submit your post here.

I also shared another post about our own journey, remembering our last days in Bristol and how I felt when we first arrived in France.

I hope you had a great week, and wish you a great love-filled weekend
